"300" look-a-like gradient tryout
hey everyone,
might be a little late, but last night i read some articles about how they did the color grading
in the 300 movie, like this one here.
on my journey i found some tutorials which all tried to "solve the problem" with 2 or 3 layer property-mods, means with almost no effort. of course none of them really worked out, because like zack snyder mentioned in a few interviews the color grading was hard work.
finally i couldn´t resist to start ps trying to create a lookalike using a photo i´ve made on a
canon EOS 400D, 5.6, ISO 400, RAW, if i remember correctly.
after 3h of work i came up with this.
if you use the firefox presets, just click on the image, it´ll zoom in.
