I've not checked this forum in at least a year, but I checked it today and saw this post. The main reason a lot of people didn't come back to Neverside after the switch from TF was because we didn't do an immediate switch. TF was taken down for a few months before Neverside was brought online and as such people moved on to other communities and sites.

Then when NS did surface it was missing a lot of the features that were available at TF and didn't really have any new ones worth mentioning (We didn't even have a search for crying out loud). Then people promised things would be finished at x date or after y weeks and when those dates rolled around nothing appeared. This got everyone more angry and eventually most of the Admin's and mods (including myself) quit because while we had a lot of ideas, nothing was happening on the development side of things. Also I think a lot of the mods had built up good friendships with a lot of the people who didn't return after the switch and felt they didn't get on as well with the member base any more.

Basically, all of that contributed to NS being what it is (or should that be isn't?) today.

Neverside was introduced way to pre mature to retain all of the members.

And in the end, I will always point my finger at Locke.
