However, that doesn't make it a 'bad' thing either. Elitist kinda has a downplayed perspective on anything, but in your use for an art group, someone name an art group where they just accept you? I mean, the good ones? Depthcore is application-only process, so is Lobby45. Does it make them elitist? No and yes. Its all perspective really. Just an fyi, ArchNemesis was/is in L45 along with Aeon and I don't regard either of them as 'We're better than all of you!! REJECTED!', they're probably some of the most helpful guys you'll come across.
