URBAN LORDS.COM Apply...
I am looking for several people with experience in PHP and/or JAVASCRIPT (AJAX) AND/OR Pixel Art Experience to create an online game called Urban Lords... Urbanlords.com. I have a text-based mmorpg at the website at the moment, however, the past few months I have changed to AJAX and created a deathmatch like game with animations that did not turn out to work well in AJAX.
My new idea is to create the game as a RTS, turn-based game with upgrades. The engine will be similar to Advance Wars for Ninetendo with a city being destroyed by an army of civilians (destroyers) while the other side (protectors) fight to save their beloved city. I will have a story line soon. I'm looking forward to expansions and sequels.
I need programmers to help me code the engine, pixel artists for textures, objects, everything used in the game, creative people can help with some ideas. Join the community now!
I have a website layout designed by a professional which I am going to most likely put online tonight at urbanlords.com along with a forum. Those who are interested to join the team will beable to access my development forum to contribute to the development.
Development has not yet begun on this project, I am hoping to start it within the new 2 weeks or so, I am mainly concerned with planning it first, I have yet to plan a project and that is definitely a bad idea so we will need to plan every aspect to make it go smoothly.
