but there was also no reason for the deletion that I can think of, we had only just begun to have a discussion too.

Whatever though, i'm not gonna bother with this place anymore if you just delete our posts at random. I'll find another community

I pointed the thread out to Stephen. Neverside, at the moment, doesn't provide a way of selling/buying/trading. It used to do, but problems came with it and they wont bring it back until they have a way to eliminate such problems. Thus, since they took away the "Market" they have been disallowing all threads like those (else the "Market" would simply move into the "Water Cooler"). I know how it feels to get a perfectly friendly toned thread deleted because of things like these, but if they would make exceptions every now and then, hell would break loose and everyone would want an exception made to sell their services, buy WoW characters, or find someone to make a design for their "amazing application".

You should know who it was that attempted to create what you wanted, so my suggestion is to send him a PM and make a deal in private, no body can stop you from doing that.

So i can't ask someone, as a fellow user, to help me with making a logo for my independantly released cd's? Comon, i'm not Sony Records here, it would be just the same if someone came on here needing help with their personal blog layout.

I dont understand neverside's policy on this though, there wasnt' any money invovled so why does it make any difference if people happen to network with each other? After all, that's what forum's are for.

I wasn't saying "hey, i'll pay you 8 bucks an hour to make me a logo" , it was for free volunteer work that was anythign BUT advertisement and contracting.

Anyways, I'm not blaming you mod's, but I'm blaming neverside for having a crappy thread policy.

I see nothing wrong with a person wanting work done regardless of payment or not. That's really their business, this, Neverside, is just the network in which we can use to find people who would be interested in buying/selling things. The market needs to come back though. Something definately needs to happen.
