designer techniques website

Hi, I have recently started a new website for aspiring car designers. The site has tutorials, designer profiles, competitions a gallery and more. Take a look.... http://www.designertechniques.com There are a few tutorials showing how Photoshop is used in the car industry as well.

I like it. The heavy gray beveled buttons is a little old school but it works I guess, your tutorial pages look nice. Organize that news page some more.

Hey, I like it a lot, and I also agree with what Sparky said, it needs a small amount of modern graphics, but nothing too much, you prolly don't want it to look too flashy and detur way from the web site itself. I've got some further reading to do because this is one of the things I'm interested in studying as well.

Good content, site looks good. Kinda plain layout, but it looks good.

There are some nice tutorials.

I feel as though the gif is changing images of the car too fast on the main page, and could be slowed down definitely. Same with on the tutorials page, slowing it down or some sort of transition between changing the image could do wondders.

that's my only suggestion, otherwise it looks pretty good, and your content is fantastic and will definitely bring visitors back
