what annoys me, is that the "This week's fav's" or whatever it is, is nearly allways the same!
Within those pictures, there is nearly allways that car, and the drawing of the eminem wannabe, and allthough they are both good images, i dont want to see them every single time i come on!

Why not incorperate both? A main gallery of postings and individual galleries. Like you click on the submitter and their posted gallery comes up.
If you like, talk with David on this, as I sent him a link with this idea already.
If he missed placed it, pm me and i'll send it to yah, okay.

I'm not going to lie here. I have no clue what you just said. "Both", as in what? The current, not finished studio version and my description of what was meant to be the more completed studio version?
The idea with "collections" was to have collections of images (that belonged to the same series in some way) being bunched together under one link rather than 4539853 individual links hogging up all the space in the studio, end of story. At least that was one version of that idea, and indeed the most obvious one in my opinion.

I've been a part of the "staff" myself (most notably for this discussion, when Neverside was very much without a studio at all, and during it's making), I've done my share of pushing for ideas, and suggesting ideas. I know very much that the problem isn't a lack of good ideas (or for that matter, staff members who take part with the community and snaps up wishes from their members) but rather people to actually do it. In short, I wouldn't "talk with David" about this since I know it wont do a whole lot.
On the top of that, I also know (from INSIDE SOURCES LOL HOMG!!!~911) what they are doing right now, which makes suggestions to the current studio quite a waste anyway.

As a frequent visitor of this fantastic gallery, i find some images quite boring, example the front page of studio this week, with all those green photos, gees, i can only comment on the same type of images for so long before I wonder what the person is trying to express, no offense, i commented on a few of them i thought were pretty neat. Many images are way old and the people who posted them dont even come around here anymore so whos gonna see the comments anyway. People will only comment on what they see as a great image.

wtf, people are going to post what they're going to post. we're not going to go "oh gosh, this is a GREAT photo. but i'm not going to upload it, 'cause lexycon has seen too many this week." sheesh. you aren't exactly contributing anything to the studio, so don't complain.

Wow, Mr. Meeter, I'm finding I've agreed with 99% of the posts you've made on NS.
I think I'm just going to start quoting everything you say, ok?
Or maybe I can just thesaurusize everything you say! Efficiency is the key!
Anywho, the images that are viewed about a gazillion times are viewed by the same type of person. The car picture that was referred to is probably viewed by a majority consisting of males who share an interest in either modding or photochops (both, even) and not consisting of elementary-school-age girls who watch Totally Spies and cried when Lizzie Maguire was cancelled.
Diversion: Shet! This soup is spicy.
Summarizing all of this, what makes a great photo is up to the viewer. You can't expect people to post things for a small audience when the audience is anyone on the internet (very diverse).
What irks me, though (I'm not sure if I've stated this already, but oh, well), is when an image of mine has 30 views and not one comment. I know I'm not very good about this, either, but I try at least.
