Your favorite Content Management System (CMS)?
Hey guys --
I've been trying out various content management systems, trying to find the right fit for my needs and the way I like to work with my sites. My broadest experience is with Joomla/Mambo, though I've installed and dabbled with others such as Drupal, Typo3, WordPress, etc.
I was curious about which CMS's you guys like best, and why? Open source and free is preferable, though if there's some excellent ones that cost, I'd like to hear about those as well
If you know any that integrate well with vBulletin, I'd like to know (I know Drupal does via vbDrupal).

Question - why would you want to intergrate VBloat with Drupal when Drupal already has a node for forums?

I voted Drupal; it's very polished (and modular!). I'm not big on the administration side of Drupal, but it does do the job.

The forums module for Drupal feels a bit underpowered. As much as I love Drupal as a CMS, vB has the better forum. It's really a matter of taste.

Joomla is by far the best.

I use joomla for my site but I haven't dug deep into it yet. For that reason alone, I voted Joomla. I'll have to code my site so that Joomla follows my design more than just skewing everything, but that shouldn't be a problem

They all suck. Especially WordPress.
Their developers are incompetent morons. Especially WordPress'.
If people could understand the code used in their backends, there would be about 2 users. The developers. Especially in the case of WordPress.
A sad reality we live in these days. :'(

Is there a reason why Textpattern isn't on the list? I love Textpattern, and everyone knows that I'm the only who ever is correct around here.
Example of well-known and sexy site powered by the sleak pants of Textpattern.

Actually I did forget Textpattern - sorry bout that.... I tried to add it to the poll after, but couldn't hehe
Textpattern.... votes = 1 (Simon)
I also forgot to mention MoveableType.
Noel:
Not sure what to say.... they're a lot better than I could ever do (or care to spend my life doing), and they power a substantial number of websites out there. I don't doubt they are imperfect - they're made by imperfect and unpaid humans
If you're certain they are completely bad and a lot of people agree with you, then I'd say there's a good market for you to make your own system.
