Well, if it's obvious that it's a fake, it definitely isn't obvious why anyone would make a point of bragging about a fake... it's bad enough when people flaunt the expensive things they have, but knock-offs? That's even worse...

I don't get what the big deal is. I got a fake rolex...I thought it was pretty cool that the quality was almost exactly the same as a real one. (Compared with my firends dads real one).

Why would someone want to brag about getting a fake watch? If you're not rolling in money, people are going to know that it's a fake and they'll think you're a loser. Or very gullible. Or a very gullible loser.

I'd rather spend $40 on a decent watch of a good make rather than $40 on a fake watch that was made by who knows what kind of manufacturer.
