PSP 7 text

Hey all, I'm new here, I've had a look round the forums and have a couple of quick question to ask.

I've been teaching myself how to use PSP for about 4 months now and I think I've got the basics e.g. blending, textures, brushes but I'm still struggling on making text look nice.

I'd really like to know how to do something as shown above? Or a similar effect maybe? Infact anything anyone can offer that would be of some use. I'd also like to know how to play with the lighting effects on graphics, as shown below and how to play with colours.

Any help would be much appreciated. Xxx

If you know how to blend photos you are already one step closer of getting these results.

In order to change a photo's color there are many ways to approach it. One way is to create a gradient with the colors you want to use on the photo, fill a new layer with it and change this layer's blend mode until you get a nice effect over the photo.
