Slicing at angles?

How do you make slices at different angles in CS2? For example; how would we make a 45 degree angle slice?

Hah. You don't. :X

Images, when all is said and done, must be rectangles. You can use transparency (or the same background color) to give them all kinds of different shapes, but they must be boxes.

Could you be more specific in what you're trying to achieve? I'm sure Photoshop can probably do it.

Yeah, can't be done (not just in Photoshop, but as a rule of how computers/programs work in general, at least at this point... images are what make up pretty much everything you see on computers, and they can only be rectangular - any roundness or angles are produced by making a part of the image transparent). BUT as sparky mentioned, let us know what it is you're trying to accomplish -- most likely thinking about it from a different perspective will get you the end result you're after.

You CAN make an angled "link area" by using what's called an image map, however those are not quite the popular way to go with websites these days.
