Help with colors

i've tried and tried but i just cant get it right. can someone please help me and tell me how they get there colors to look like this. the more specific you can be the better. any help and all help is appreciated.

good point kryptonite. i hope i'm explaining this right but what i mean is how the photo looks like it was taken in one shot as opposed to all these different people being place beside each other. they seem to be the same the same tint, contrast, hue, or whatever it is. it almost looks unreal. the building to. i tried making a brick wall look like that and it came out terrible. i have several pics of different people and i'm trying to do a similar cover but my people come out looking like 5 different people instead of 1 shot. i hope yall can understand what i'm tryin to say
