Bitmap to Vector
I'm very new to Illustrator, and I'm still getting used to the Vector-based tools. Is there any way for me convert a bitmap image from photoshop into a vector image in illustrator? I'm willing to hear both "the long way" and "the short way" if there is one.

Long way: Place a pic on a page in Illustrator, lock it down and trace it by drawing it!
Short way: Buy Adobe Streamline!

You could try going to www.adobe.com and download the trial version. It should be able to save files? and will get you over this crunch!

There is also a trace tool in Illustrator, it's very basic though. Not too easy to use either.
But it's worth a shot.
