Now that we've all had our go and insulting the intelligence of the poster, this might as well be closed.

I was surfing around on the Alienware website, and I noticed that on the top of their website, they say "Alienware recommends Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional." Now, honestly, do you really think people smart enough to develop their computers would suggest something as shitty as Microsoft Windows?

Alienware are gaming machines. Most games run on windows. There is no ulterior motive so stop making a big deal.

last time i checked alienware doesnt "develop" anything, they just assemble parts and sell them at a huge markup. i'm sure that they have some EEs working for them but as far as i can tell they buy parts from other companys and stick them in a cool looking case. as far as endorsing microsoft, what else do you expect them to do? 100% of their market revolves around microsoft products. who else are they going to endorse? linux doesnt have any main stream games and theres no way apple would let them use their technology, what else could they do, make their own OS? thats never going to happen seeing as how their a somewhat small hardware company (as compaired to dell, gateway, or hp)

Doom? Quake? I won't say all, but some of the "big" games get Linux releases also.

Now stop the flaming, guys.

Oh, puh-leez. Another "windows-is-crap" flame starter? The OS is great; it's just uninformed users who fark up their computer. If you don't like it, go to to your Mac.
