True the new Intel Macs will be faster. But not only will your checkbook suffer from the expensive computer, you will get a huge surprise on your next electric bill. Those Intel Dual-Core processors are power hungry little fuckers.
Hence why I think they should have gone with AMD instead.

Heh, not to mention you probably need a dual core system to prevent OmniWeb from melting your comp.

...some cool stuff, but it looks like i'm gonna have to keep waiting for that 12" apple laptop I can dual-boot Windows XP on. It'd be so awesome if they did a 10". I'd sell my Vaios in a heartbeat, even my SRX.

True, AMD would've made a more efficient core for Apple...for probably less.
But why would you want something so small Mr_B? It would hurt the eyes to look @ something so small.

I bought the Powerbook G4 in July. Since then, they have both updated the Powerbooks AND come out with this new MacBook.
Bleh.

Heh, I've had my powerbook for over a year now, so I dont feel cheated at all. I just need some more RAM, and I'l be a happy camper for a few more years.

i would have also prefered a variation in screen sizes than the 15.4 inch on the MacBook Pro..

Would that also be there reason for chaning the power adaptor on the MacPro?
