Seriously, guys, I'm going to start giving out warnings if you just can not post in the right place. I have to move a thread here at least once a day. It's not that hard; in fact, it's right under the Water Cooler. I don't care how much attention you think your thread deserves, it belongs here. If it's a tech-related question, it belongs here.

AdAware and Spybot is pretty much all we use at work (computer repair shop). Make sure they're updated and then run them in safe mode without networking. Microsoft AntiSpyware is more for catching spyware in the act, not so much scanning. If you have SpyAxe, you have to download and run smitremover (google it). You can also manually remove any suspicious exes or dlls in Documents and Settings, Program Files, Windows, Windows/system(32), are some main folders.
