Flas Button that switches to Scenes

Wow, I must say I hate flash. I like it a bit better now that I got my High Speed Cable internet but I still hate it. My friend is paying me to make something simple and I just need a button that switches to another scne. Now I haven't really used Flash much. The last time i really used it was flash 4 or.

I know how to make a button but now I am stumped on switching scenes. I paste

in the spot of the button but it doesnt work. I mean this thing is taking me hours and its pissing me off. I know it may sound stupid or easy but this thing is killing me. and plus I can't place an action on a graphic.

I place the action outside the button on the btton it self but i'm doing something wrong please help. Explain this to me.
