Dont take creatine. Trust me i tried to go the opposite way that you are going to lose weight with drugs, and as it may work it is not healthy, and very addicting. I was up to 18-20 pills aday when i was only supposed to be taking 6. Luckly, my boyfriend got me off of it, and now i weigh 130 pounds, i feel alot better, even though i could be healthier. Don't try to alter your body in an unnatural way.
I dont understand why you are doing this?
Maybe it is pressure or comments from classmates.....and if that is the case just ignore it. Because if i learned nothing else in high school, it was that after you get out, what people said and do to means nothing.
So please don't hurt your body to impress other people. It is not the way to go.
Ashley, I've been to a doctor and he prescribed prednizone (a steriod). It worked for like two months and I gained a lot of weight and built a lot of muscle. But it was all done the wrong way, and eventually the side effects kicked in and I became worse then before. I've completely drawn away from modern medicine, it can't help me. I had cancer at the age of 6 and had my left kidney removed, underwent tons of chemo and radiation, and that may also be part of the reason I have colitis today. I'm on a alternative program called The Makers Diet and it's done wonders compared to everything else I've tried. I've gained 12lbs, which isn't much, but better then anything else I've tried. Before I started the program I was going to the bathroom 20-30 times a day, now it's rarely more then 5.
Creatine - no way, don't use it, never will. I use a protein product from Garden of Life (associated with The Makers Diet) that is extracted from goats milk - I don't use it often, but when I do I use it in smoothies and stuff. I say just eat healthy. Lots of fruits, veggies, and fair portions of meats and whole grains (I don't eat pork, shellfish, etc.). Get proper Omega3 fatty acids (I use cod liver oil) and healthy fats. That's the way to stay healthy, and the way for me to become healthy myself again.

I haven't cared enough to read all the replies, but I've taken creatine. If you're lazy and don't want to work out, creatine isn't your alternative
. Your body will go back to the way it was when you stop taking them. I used creatine when I started working out so I can handle it better. You get sore for the beginning weeks, and you aren't able to do as much if you are out of shape. So, I bought a bottle so I can keep myself from tiring out right away and to avoid the pain of broken muscle tissue that you get when you start working out.
Eat plenty and smart, workout an hour a day every few days a week, and you should be fine. It's hard to put your mind on a workout routine, but it's not bad once you're used to it.
