I'm not so protective of her that I wouldn't let her do anything or any of that BS - Im just not gonna let some guy try to take advantage of my sister, no matter his age, especially a guy who WOULD go to jail if he DID touch her.

Serious romantic relationship can be had at 18. Since it is the legal age where one is presumed to be mature enough to handle relationships. if the other individual is too young, then you can probably wait for him/her. Love do not rush anyway.

however, you can still enjoy relationships at a very young age. bend the rules but be sure you will not be caught inflagrante delicto. Enjoy!

I agree that love knows no age. however, it is still creepy to see a couple who has a spouse several decades older thah him/her. They might look like father and daugher or mother and son tandem. The drawback of such relationship may not be realized in the early time but it will swarm later on. When differences become serious that's the time when relationship is in real trouble. And this becomes more creepy...

I'm 22.. my most recent ex was 26. The guy I'm interested in now is 27. After a certain age, like 20ish I think, age doesn't really matter, youth does matter because of the maturity issue. Generally I'd say keep it within 10 years, but hey, you can't control who you love, so to each their own.

Let's see....I've dated all different age groups. My ex is 32 and I'm 23. However, I look a little older and she looked younger and same goes with our personality. So, it worked. I didn't have a problem with a 9 year difference but she made references to it a lot.

When I was 19 I dated a 30 year old a couple times...

When I was 21 I dated a 18 year old....

Other than that I generally stay close to my age. Right now my g/f is 21.

I don't plan on ever dating under 21 again. It is very limiting on the relationship. First off, the girls aren't very mature and not grown up enough. However, it depends on the girl. But, anything under 20 is a kid in my eyes.

So, 18+ whatever.

Under 18, I think the couple should try to be in the same grade. Because school is your life and its all about that. Especially if you're a senior. But if its just for sex then whatever. I don't really care what anyone does.
