There's no place like moan!

Here it is; the opportunity to get something off your chest! (Not literally, please...).

We all like a good moan. It's human nature. So here, you can have one! Doesn't have to be about any aspect of the internet. It could be about traffic wardens, politics, sport, even threads like this!

In a blatant attempt to squeeze as many postings as possible, may I suggest that only one topic per post per moan? Then come back and have another moan later!

In any case, insofar as human behaviour aspects are concerned, I know that every moan I make, I've been guilty of myself! Talking of which, here's my first moan.

I hate it when passengers in my car mess with stuff on the dashboard. I'll let someone get away with changing the volume or radio station on the stereo, but don't you dare honk my horn.

yeah i did it

I abhor unenthusiastic and unproductive leaders who were elected into their position by popular vote. I serve under one such chum, my school's Key Club President, as the secretary. My role model of a "leader" was elected because he was friends with most of the club's members and he seemed to be extremely enthusiastic - but it was all style, no substance. What I would also like to mention is he is a a coward and a lazy *****. The president is expected to set the course of the club and display leadership; however, my president chooses to procrastinate on his still-poorly performed duties and he does not even keep a folder (as expected of all KC Presidents)! The other candidate that ran against him was one of the more faithful members of our Key Club division (covering 17 schools) and had high expectations and goals for the club had he been elected; in his nomination speech he detailed his mission statement and his strategy. However, he wasn't as fatuously over-enthusiastic or disingenuous as the incumbent today. I'm still serving the crass president and I give him low ratings and negative opinions on monthly reports (which no one else sees). I am quite aware that popularity plays a large part in high school elections - that's what I'm moaning about. I would have run for president myself but the club needed a secretary so I sacrificed the opportunity to continue serving the hard, more substantial work.
