ROFL, i grew up in Germany, and i did not know legal drinking age was 16. anyway i decided to check out wikipedia on the subject, and you're right, (but it's only 16 for beer and wine, not spirits), also, this is even weirder, where i live now (new zealand) wikipedia says there isn't actually a minimum drinking age, you just can't buy alcohol until you're 18.

i just looked further into it, and it seems everybody is saying something different.
one site says the New Zealand age is 20, another one says its 18 for drinking and purchasing alcohol. }

anyway, on the subject. I'm 17, and although I've been offered drink before, i refused, although i probably will drink before I'm 18. It was just kinda to prove to myself that i could say no.

HAHA, i was actually hoping someone would bring up sam adams... as that is the perfect example of marketing crap. It costs 2X as much, and taste the same as any other beer - except it give a very heavy feeling your in stomach. Good luck drinking more than 2, you'll either run out of money or space in your body.
