How to "close" a flash?

Hi,
I'm not sure if I can explain this clearly. I have a flash video running on a site, is there any way to close/hide that flash after it finish playing? maybe a code or something? Thanks in advance =)

Javascript maybe?

Have it in a DIV, name it correctly, then use JS's selectElementbyID(something like that), function to change it to display:none;
