Job, sister's wedding, staying with boyfriend, going to a cottage by a lake, niagra falls, my first play experience, CN Tower, and much more. Summer's not over yet, and I still have more planned.

I always make a point to waste as much time as possible. It's not the days, months, and years of work I'll remember looking back on my life...it's the available hours I spend doing things that I really enjoy...like kicking back with a good scotch (this week it's Johnny Walker Black Label), cigar, and Harry Connick Jr. blaring in surround, last week I build some pretty big cages for my iguanas and black tree monitors, next week I'll be laying track on my model railroad. It's not what you accomplish, it's how much you enjoy doing things that don't really matter. One day at work fades into the next. It's the things that actually interest me and make me feel at peace that are worth striving for...and wouldn't you know, it's doesn't take much of an effort after all. Just take time to do it.

It goes for any walk of life. One summer when school was out I spent thirteen hours a day playing FFVII, even calling in sick to my summer job because I was so engrossed in that game. I remember staying home to play it much better than I remember what job I actually worked (that's still a little hazy).

I think my summer was not wasted at all. I took summer school from june 13th to july 21st so that took a big chunk out of it but it will definitely pay off in the end. I am now at a MUCH better high school then I would have been at because of summer school. I went on a cruise to key west and Cozumel, Mexico after summer school which was alright I guess. When I got back, I either was too caught up in reading or playing basketball with a few friends. My goals now are to get good grades, meet new people, and work out.

Dude, well said. I totally agree with you. Good to see some maturity on NS once in awhile.
