Did You Waste Your Summer?

It's just about the end of the summer, maybe a week or two left for some of us, and I was just wondering how everyone spent their summer. Also, was it meaningless, did you have a great time, etc.?

For starters, I had a great summer; so many memories between my friends and me. A lot of partying nights too. But, last summer was a wee bit better. No regrets for this time around. I mean, I met new people, did different things, and I hung out with kids I didn't think I would hang out with (for no particular reason, just didn't ever think about it).

Always... this time I wasted it working a lame job that I hate.

I mos def wasted mine. No job, no camps, no nothing. I go to school monday and I'm excited. I regret being bored the entire summer(spent it inside my aun'ts home :( ). I've had a helluva time hanging out on NS though, messing with Shawn and the others in IRC. I'll try to keep in touch as often as possible as I experience college life.

Depends what you consider as wasted. I spent a lot of time with my friends, just having a good time. As this is the last summer vacation I will have for a long time (read: for the rest of my life) I think it was well spent.

Havn't done anything all that exciting. I did complete eight units in summer school though, so in the long run, it was a good decision taking those two classes. I'm currently playing in a local basketball league, so thats been fun. Overall, I don't think I've wasted this summer, its actually one of the more productive ones I've had in the past few years.

This summer was the best I've had yet. Met some new friends, tight vacations, actually followed through on some projects, all around good times. Still, I'm excitd about school too, for once.

I worked, and worked some more. I still have more than a month left of my summer, and I will have a nice chunk of cash at the end of it, but I havent had much time to hang out with my friends at all, or put much time into any of the various projects I need to do, so that sucks.

I guess you could say I wasted mine. I was planning to study for the SATs and finish completely at least 4 books, but noooo... I leveled my Ragnarok Online character some and learned more web design though :-P...

But I do feel some kind of accomplishment since I'm taking an introduction to business class at a community college.

This is actually my second week of school because they just like to start us early here in Texas and especially where I live.

My summer was very productive. Not always fun, but now that it's over, I'm proud of myself. I worked, worked, and worked some more. I only made about $1000, but still not too bad and I'm saving up for a car. Besides working, I played a LOT of halo, went to this awesome tour concert thing called sounds of the underground and hung out with some friends. Next summer should be good and then at the beginning of next school year I'll go to quakecon with my friends since it is always nearby and I missed out this year.

Well I'm glad to know some of you had a ball, and some of you just bite the big one ;), but this is my last summer until high school is over, the last couple of days are going to be long, and crazy. My summer actually ends a week earlier than everyone elses because football starts next week, too bad. Like I said earlier, no regrets, and I'm sure some of you feel the same.
