Yah, I heard about that. Shouldn't the internet cafes be held responsible? If I owned a cafe and saw some dude playing games for 50 hours I would be alarmed.

I like how the article focuses so hard on the gaming industry. Yah, like the dude couldn't have any prior medical complications. They "presumed" he died from exhaustion. Pfft. And his buddies FINALLY find him and he "dies minutes later" after they leave.

Thast just way to much gaming.

gees, how could someone stay awake that long without being in some kind of stressful situation. Pop a few pills! Ive never seen, nor heard of a kid staying awake for 50 hours in my life, i dont believe that one.

I once stayed awake for five straight days. I couldn't sleep at all. It was horrible. By the laws of the state I was in at the time, I could have been declared legally insane. Fortunately, no one else knew that. I finally slept for 21 hours straight after that.

You can believe it does happen.

Yeah, I did that for a week while I was attending an Engineering program at the Kansas City Honeywell plant. Each day I showed up, my eyes just became more and more bloodshot.

Sadly enough, I believe I still outperformed everyone else when we did programming exercises (of course, they were using FORTRAN, and I was cruising along with C). That week also marked the birth of the best drum and bass track I have ever started :D sleep deprivation made me loopy, but it "supercharged" my "creative juices", "so to speak" """""""""""""""""
