Or trying to 'exile' most of the community by using an elitist hierarchivey algorithm to weight factors of what is art and what isn't. Art is art, quality control or not.

Several people have suggested that towards me, humor & serious. However, making such a proposition would look more like we're trying to 'take advantage' of the turn of events to 'benefit' ourselves.
While having Jark would bring 5 years of community development & member relations experience that is beyond my level of understanding in terms of experience; it is simply not feasible or within respectable terms to ask that.
With that, we are also a small community in comparison, while all communities start out small & have the potential to grow, DeviantART is Jark & Matteo(WastedYouth)'s success. Therefore if it is to be they are to lose a creation to which they have built & watch grow; then it is possible they may end up here on their own terms; not by our request.
With those two however, I more or less see them creating their own community on their own terms rather then coming here. I support that 100% also, I've modeled many of the things I do with my staff & this community direction after his example. I only lost interest in DeviantART after those like Angelo started focusing more on corporate matters instead of benefiting towards the community.

This is the most disturbing thing I have seen so far. It shows e-mail communication concerning the state of affairs with DeviantART, Inc & Jark's overall dissatisfaction with how the company & community that was built in his & matteo's vision being handled as it is.
To quote a line from it, that makes this even more interesting:
"The following is a list of conditions that must be met no later than July
31, 2005 if Angelo is to avoid legal action"
Note: Jark was fired from the company July 28th, 2005.
Read the entire article & you will see reasoning & so forth that is outlined to show that this has been foul play on the part of Angelo Sotira & Andrew McCann.

These are screenshots that show some internal communication from the staff, matteo, Euphoria's resignation, LIQUISOFT, who I remind you was at one point a staff member of this community in it's early days, is caught deleting comments; something that is against DeviantART's policy & guidelines.
All in all, I wait to see what will unfold in the coming months. It's a shame that the level of corporation corruption that has arisen out of all of this is simply going to warp a community that has had a place on the internet for 5 years, and is known as the largest online art community in the entire world.
