Just looking over the Big Noob blog and they had a post on getting a dreamhost account for only nine dollars! That's about five quid over here in the UK!

Is Dreamhost a good host?

I've had friends who went with Dreamhost, some of them loved it but some of them hated it. I think it depends on which server you get stuck on. But then again, I've had not personal experience so I really can't say either way.

Perhaps check out http://webhostingtalk.com and see what people have said about it? When looking for a new host, shared, reseller, or dedicated, WHT is the best site on the net to find out about it. IMO at least.
