iPod Case
Does anyone here, who has an iPod, have a case for it? I want to buy something that will protect my iPod from scratches, but I can't seem to choose one. I've been looking at http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002OCR5 ... tronics&n=507846 and http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0006FTKX ... tronics&n=507846 but I can't get a good view of it, so I really don't know just what I'm buying. Does anyone have either of those?

My friend gave me this one:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002OCR5 ... tronics&n=507846
but I didnt use it because it covers up the click wheel and the tageon the back would scratch up the silver backing.
But i did buy this one, http://www.everythingipod.com/product222.tpl?command=se ... datarq=YES&max=1
From best buy and it is great. It doesnt make the ipod really any thicker and has holes from the click wheel and bottom connection. The best one out there.
The socks do look kind of cool, something you can ask grandma to make for you lol :P

I thought about getting a case for my ipod when i first got it, but I carry it in the pocket of my jeans so often when I listen to it, I want it to be as small as possible. My iPod has a few battlescars, but it still works perfectly fine. After you get a few small scratches on your ipod, you'll probably stop caring.

I personally have an iSkin for mine (4g 20gb). The longer I've had it, the less I care for it. Mine's also getting a bit "stretched out" since none of my gizmos that attach to the top of the iPod can get a good connection since the material on the top is too thick... so I often have to peel back the iSkin to ensure my device is plugged in all the way. Now the screen protector slides all over the place and is generally more of a nusance than it's worth.
I agree with A4D and Down.... perhaps better off without it. I'm not entirely certain why I cared so much about protecting it from scratches in the first place (I never went to all the trouble for my CD player, and it cost about the same)
Well I did get my iPod for free haha, though it's the cheap(er) of the models - I supposed I'd care more if I had invested half a grand on it or something
