Importing designs into C4D

I need to know how to do this so that I can import some car blueprints into the program. ANy links or anything would be helpful..

I dunno about C4D but for 3D Studio Max I usually take a plane or box and apply a material. Then the material has the image as the diffuse map.

Or like 3DSM and Blender, there might be a way to set the blueprints to a viewport background.
