Bending Lines in AI
I drew a hand in Illustrator, and did it with the pen tool quickly so it has corners, how would I go about curving and bending the lines so the corners aren't as sharp? I can't for the life of me figure out how to. Thanks.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to. Thanks. under the pen tool (hold and the flyout menu of all the pen tools appears) there is the convert point tool -- looks like a little triangle with a plus -- or you can simply hit shift+c to bring up the tool. Then, click and drag the corner points you want to change to smooth, and you'll see that if you pull in one direction, the curve is concave, and if you pull in the other direction, the curve is convex. I think it has to do with the direction you used when creating the path in the first place. Either way, you'll get the idea. Hope that helps. |
