ACTUALLY, the exclamation point moves on each record. :P
As far as I know, they were known as Godspeed You Black Emperor! and then they changed it to Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Michael: Unearth, Pedro the Lion, Belle and Sebastian
Advocation: Royksopp, Lemon Jelly, Tosca, Air. And if you like things that are super chilled out, then have a listen at Nightmares on Wax or Bullitnuts
Sykil: Based on the indie type of stuff you like, i think you would probably like Belle and Sebastian and Pedro the Lion
Pieter: I've been meaning to have you listen to this local hardcore band called The Shook Ones, remind me and I'll send you a few of their tracks.
Ed: If you havent already, you should listen to some Kruder & Dorfmeister or Tosca
Andy: This goes for anyone who likes Weezer: listen to Ozma

I have heard G&D, and they're great. My all time favourite by them is definately their remix of Andain - Beautiful Things. Their upcoming release with Markus Shulz and Departure, "Without You Near" is actually quite good as well. Have you heard it?
Nope. I've only listened to their Bloom album, and was rather impressed.

Sounds awesome. I've been meaning to attend more Electronic music events, but I don't know of too many going on in Kansas City (perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places...?). The only one I've gone to so far has been VNV Nation, at the Madrid. Fucking amazing. The opening act kicked ***, and VNV Nation itself dominated.
