if he's got the money it shuodn't really matter, i was thinking of getting a custom Jackson RR model = $5000 CAD, but i haven't because i have better things to spend $5000 on, but if had the extra cash i'd buy and thrash the hell ouf of it.

as for 7 strings. . . i find those are so lame.

Why are they lame? The 7th string allows you to reach lower notes without changing your tuning. This isn't lame at all.
