Would a series of SQL tutorials benefit you?Would a series of SQL tutorials benefit you?Currently viewing this thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) Agreed aonic, and I would love to see some OOP tutorials from you I think I would cover basic syntax then, basic PHP interaction and then some potentials for DB classes, prepared statements, and the such. I guess I would cover pagination somewhere to. Anything else anyone wants? I think that would cover the majority of the DB issues here. ___________________ http://www.philbrodeur.com - Expert PHP Development and Tutorials sounds good, i need to read up on some of those anyway ___________________ -Developer
I think so, would also be a great resource for the site. Look forward to most of those topics Sounds good. High interest in the subquery section. Still very annoyed that MySQL doesn't allow subqueries, or even fields, in the LIMIT statement. Makes me want to kill someone. ___________________ I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.

First off, the magazines is rather standard and simple, and not uncommon. I don't know if you've read the new one or not, however, the owner still retains full rights, we just ask that those who write for it, we ask them to nofify us before they re-distribute it, without notifying us. We'd like to know where an article we published goes, as sort of a 'collection' of things we helped get out there. The ownership never leaves the author. Also, the submission/ownership policy is the 'exact' same as the studio. The author/writer retains full rights to all content submitted. Neverside will use it's presence to advertise and promote the content that said Author has published. At all times the rights & so forth stay with the actual owner. Since the magazine will not be 'entirely' guest written, and it will have a dedicated staff, the policy is quite simple. Since CodeBase is a member submission engine, we have no need to claim ownership, we merely will do what we can to promote & redistribute it to as many out there as possible. Don't wet your shorts. ___________________ The Audoptic Weblog. It's where the magic happens. Last edited by Locke, April 16th, 2005 05:52 AM (Edited 1 times) I wasnt wetting my shorts. I simply didnt want to worry about (re)distributing my own material. Thats my only qualm with it. If codebase is different, then I'll submit to it. ___________________ http://www.philbrodeur.com - Expert PHP Development and Tutorials I think some would benefit from it more than others. It'd be helpful for new members...so they wouldn't come running to the forums and we'd have to explain it to them. I'd say yes, so it does NOT have to be explained multiple times to new members. |
