American Dates
This is something that has been really bugging me lately because it just seems so stupid!
How come all Americans put the date Month/Day/Year & not the regular (and orginal) way Day/Month/Year???
It just seemes stupid, shouldn't it go in ascending order? Or do Americans just like being different/difficult?
Come on you Americans, tell me why you have to be such pains!

It's because when they said it before they wrote it, they would say, "March (in the) 21st (day) 2005." Whereas we would say, "21st (day of) March 2005". It's just part of their dilect I guess. Something like that anyway.

probably because some guy back in the 1770s said - lets not be like England! So we took out the u's in a bunch of our words, reformated our dates, became stupid, ect...
