Polishkid, she didn't have to go anywhere. I don't see the current first lady visiting troops in Iraq so why should Hilary feel obligated to do so? I for one find it interesting that she chose the troops in afganistan, since they seem to be forgotten by the bigger part of the media (and the president).

i agree. she doesnt have to enter danger zone to try to be helpful. She could have easily chosed afganistan because she knew bush was going to Iraq and didn't want them to feel forgotten. Again, if that's manipulating, then lord, I'd hate to see what charity is.

I'll give you that there that she may have wanted to see the somewhat forgotten soldier in Afghanistan. Although, there is no way she could have known the president was going to Iraq because they had to keep it secret. She just seems like a b*tch in ever sense of the word and I don't like her. I actually like Bill but can't stand her.

You're say you don't like Hillary because:
1) You don't think her smiles are genuine.
2) She tried to grab media attention.
3) She dressed better than the other first ladies.
4) She took a commanding charge while walking.
5) You didn't she was courteous.
But you say you like Bill Clinton, and say Hillary is a b*tch.
Clinton, a married man, was getting blowjobs from a secretary. If he was the one who unzipped his pants, he probably did it with the hand his wedding ring was on.
But hey! It's Bill! Hillary, that evil woman, dresses better than the other first ladies! How dare she?
When a man is aggressive, assertive, commanding, and outspoken, he's a damn hero.
If it's a woman, she's a b*tch.
Love the double standard.

I agree with you. That's about it.

as do i (just fyi, that's what that sign means, that we agree
)
that was the point i was trying to get to, and it's going to be one of the issues held against hillary. There are a lot of people in the world that still don't think women can have those traits.
im also a bit taken back that we're voting in our leaders based on slight personality flaws rather than issues.

Yes, I agree about the personality flaws rather than issues, but any candidate seeking to be president will say anything about the issues that sounds right so he or she can get elected so it doesn't serve as an appropriate meter of how they really are.
I don't hae anything against women trying to take a commanding roll and I think it would be kind of nice from a historical standpoint for Hillary to become president but I just feel that her views as a democrat aren't right for this country. I would love if Condoleezza Rice became president because I have seen her speak and know she is a very smart woman. She would also be the first African-American president.

Ms. Rice is a smart woman. She has built a decent political career and she's an accomplished Sovietologist.
I'm not sure if she'd be Presidential material though. Most of her time in Bush's cabinet so far has been spent in the role of a Yes-Woman. I'm not a big fan of Bush's policies.
However, she'll be distanced from the White House and she will be more seperated from the President this time around. Maybe she'll surprise us. Maybe.
I'd still rather have McCain for President, even though he's getting up there in age.
