Guillani for president hmm, i thought he was going for senate, not presidency. Even if he did, he's popular in NY, but there's still an overwhelming liberal populace here that wouldnt vote for him. It would be rough to even win his own state. I thought he was fighting cancer or something too. for a republican, I kinda like him, but nonetheless, Hillary would have a large female support, from both sides, simply because she's a woman. And she'd have great backing. Bill is extremely popular, and she has the charisma that Kerry lacked. With GWB, it was a election along party lines. Hillary has what it takes to get swing voters, thats all that matters.

Its not because of the media feeding it out, you can tell from all of her appearances in places and how she presents herself. Yes, politicians are manipulative but she kind of goes beyond the rest. Here are some examples that get under my skin:

Thanksgiving '03- She took a plane out to Afghanistan to try to grab media attention and look all nice and good but was completely overshadowed by Bush showing up in Iraq. She didn't seem to give a genuine smile in the shots I saw and didn't really do the entire rally the troops and congradulate them type thing that I expect from a politician/senator.

Opening of Clinton Library- She was the only one of the women wearing a light dress and it was much better than the other first ladies. When she was walking, she was trying to take a commanding charge in the front while walking. Bill did not act in such a way while walking with the presidents.

On to the actual political stuff... I think that if she can truly present herself as at least decent that she is pretty sure to win unless there is a good republican candidate and some serious attacks from the right.

Actualy NY is mostly conservative its just NYcity that is overwelmingly liberal (along with its news press). Thats what i've hear anyway.

Theres nothing wrong with Republicans, just as there is nothing wrong with Democrates. It's just the majority of them are crap (on both sides).

I would move out now, America is going to hell in a hand basket anyway.

You know what ells would be scary? Four more years! *chants*Tongue

So what would be scray to you?

Edit: Fixed misspelling.

Good god, your spelling is horrible. Sorry, but its just bad.

Well, Guiliani is probably going to run, and might make a good republican candidate.

Hillary will probably run, but she will not win, she is up there on the top liberal scale with ted kennedy. Her in office would scare me.

The problem with moving out is that you would actually know a different language.
Didn't see many people back in US that did...

to polish kid:
think about what you just said. IT's manipulative for Hillary to go to Afganistan in support of the troops, but not for bush. Please. You can't call her a bad politician for going there. tehy all have.

As for the thing with the library, if you're saying its manipulative for a wife to act anythign but submissive, you're grossly mistaken.

to tool:
Majority of NY, by landmass, is conservative. But population, is liberal. It's a giant state, but there isnt a large density in the northern part. The part with all the people is near the city and albany, and those areas are liberal. NY is proabbly 70% liberal, whcih is why Guilliani would have a bit of a time winning NY. I don't know the last time NY went concervative.

Obama would be a good candidate too. Didn't he win Illinois (or whever he was elected, i thought illinois) by a landslide?

Either way, I won't be in America (i think) for the next election

Nykoelle: Why didn't Hillary go to Iraq where all the really harsh fighting is? We all know Iraq is one of the most dangerous places in the world and the president took a trip there. Who is at greater danger in Iraq- Hillary or the president of this country? That is easy. He made sure it was kept secret while he was arriving because he would have possibly been killed otherwise.

About the library, she doesn't have to be submissive, but I think she should at least be courteous towards the other first ladies. Is that too much to ask especially from a woman who plans to run for the highest office in the nation? I believe not.

Barrack Obama won the Illinois senate race at around 70%.

You know where my vote is going next election (when I will actually be able to vote, that is).
