I personally thought the movie was horrible and easy to figure out. PITT News (college newspaper here) had a review about it and it said "has you guessing all up until the very last minute", but anyone who can put a few clues together can figure out the movie in my opinion.
The movie is classified as a Horror/Thriller movie and it was nowhere close to being scary, so I can't recommend it for anyone. Hell, we went to the drive in to see it and we parked off to the side where no one was around us. The whole setting was a bit spooky because I had my tailgate door open and the wind made all the trees shake. Even with this setting, I found the movie quite not-scary-at-all-and-predictable.
My girlfriend said she was spooked by some parts, so I guess it does the trick for some people. In the end, it's like any other movie: You can't rely on critics and you just have to see it for yourself.
I was actually pretty positive about the movie all up until the first major cop scene when they try to capture the Jigsaw killer. Cops use guns, especially on killers that are 2 feet away that try to run away, but end up cutting the cop on the neck.
Sorry about so much negativity, but I was trying to get scared this Halloween season and this movie was a big money waster.
