3D People?

I would like to learn to make 3D people from scratch. Kinda like they do in video games. Anyone know where I can find a tutorial for this?

this is probably a bit more complicated than a tutorial could handle. they do courses at universities to do with digital character creation and animation... which i hope to do , but other than that.... i dunno really.

unless other people know of some.

Otherwise, as buckaroobanzai said, you're looking into a long long time of learning on something like 3dstudiomax, lightwave, or maya (those are the main ones anyway..).. check out the 3d forum for more and better info..

Well if your looking into md modeling and don't want to pay a cent, www.blender3d.com is for you. It is free, and has a game engine.

WOW i just looked at that blender3d site.... how good is that!!! downloaded straight away... will add it to terragen in the list of awesome programs that are free

on a side note, what youre asking it like mastering php in a day. dont expect to be able to do this kind of stuff overnight.
