Line disappearing from viewport/render

Hi,

I think this person may have been having the same problem I am now having:

But the image link is no more. Can someone help me out?

It's too bad that image link doesn't work. And I believe I used to have a similar problem with my 3ds. But I don't use 3ds anymore and I don't know how to fix it.
