Feedback...

Hi, im an adminstrator from www.cmaddicted.com and I was wondering if you good people would help me out by giving me some help, hints and feedback on my site. We are a popular CM site at the minute but i just think we need some more ideas and feedback on how we can be improved.

First off I couldn't work out what the hell the site was about! You definetly need to change this!
Also the right menu bar starts about 50px down - why not at the top like the left menu?!
Finally at the bottom right the background goes skew (mis-aligned) and doesn't look right.

Apart from that not bad!

I agree with above, all I can gather is that this about soccer. maybe put an about this site page somewhere for people who dont know what they're looking at. and the right nav (also said above) is lower than the left side.

I'd nix the optimized for 1024x768 line at the bottom, your site should be able to work in any resolution of you know how to code it correctly. On 1280x1024 there is a lot of white space that is out of place and also the lower right hand design gets broken up (misaligned).

It's pretty nice. But you should make the center content stretch when viewing at higher resolutions.

Also when I'm viewing it at 1280X1024, there is a blue spot between the two halfes of the top white line that says "Welcome to......"

Other than that and the things already mentioned, nice site!

Even from Championship manager, I still have no idea what it's about - not being into sports.

Overall, I do not like this site very much - sorry. It seems as if an attempt at a professional look was tried but didn't end in that direction.

First I'd recommend redoing your banner,
_ -drop the scanlines - or if you must improve on them so it doesnt look straight from a tutorial
-add some color to it as well - perhaps change the color overlay to 50%
-use a banner that will fit, not so it looks like 3 pictures placed on their, crop the players out even - remove their backgrounds.

Next, re-work your navigation, nothing destroys a site more than a nav with 20 links.

Expand or at least center your content [ being on 1280x1024 it looks like small boxes shifted to the left ]

And finally, in your content (on the first page, maybe above the news) think about providing a little snippet of just what you guys are about, the purpose I'm at your site, and what your site can do for us.
