I asked Locke this question a while back and he said that there was no point in upgrading because TF has has been modified so much it probably runs better than vb3 as it is right now.

Vb 3 is what happens when a companys piece of software becomes popular the company gets the microsoft syndrome and fills its main flagship product with bloat thus needing excessive resources to run to do the same job as the previous versions of the same product.
