path preview
Hi Guys,
Is there a path preview option in Illustrator CS like in photoshop?
You know, when you click and drag you get a preview of the path before you add another anchor point.
I've checked out the prefs, but can't see anything in there.
Many thanks!

I'm not familiar with Illustrator CS but in v10 there is an option for viewing just the outline of your objects (View - Outline).
Also, if you turn the Smart Guides on whenever you are over a path the word "path" will show next to the cursor.

Firebrand, I know what you mean. I was raised on Corel Draw:o , and it shows the path before you commit to it, by clickiing. I've never seen that in Illustrator, and can find nothing to indicate that this is an option.
Sorry mate, it would be a nice option, though!
