My Cable Internet Rocks!
Well, I use Cox Cable for my ISP and have been for 4 years or something. They just upgraded their service and made it 5mb download and 756kbs Upload. This is a huge improvement from what i used to have. I can totally feel the change, I actually get 1mb a second when downloading some files and its just so much quicker. Im really happy they made the change.
Just felt like sharing.

Wow, that's really cool. I have DSL right now but kind of want to change to high speed cable. Cox doesn't provide to my area, though.

Yeah, cable is pretty good speeds, only thing is, in peek hours it slows down, but not much, maybe 5-15kbs, so its not a huge difference for me.

I mis cox @ home.... Going from cable to DSL is like going from, DSL to dial up.... I hurts, alot.
Damn you Japan and your non-providing cable to my area....

christ, comcast has a terrible monopoly here. WE pay about 52 dollars a month for this cable. It is very fast, but very very overpriced.

yeah well i just moved to seattle and was very surprised that it was out here. I just don't think about those things. It was the same way back east in Jersey except about 10 dollars cheaper
I think every time they run one of those 19.99 for three month deals existing users soudl get that price as well. Hell they make enough money to offer to buy disney I'm sure they could afford to lease twenty bucks for a few months...
Ahh and then I woke up...
But at least the company I use to host the site on upgrades my account whenever they make an adjustment on the main page of thier website.
So when I got the accoutn four years ago it was only 300 mb then I saw it advertised for the same price each month but with better control panel, more options and 2000 mb disk space I made a call expecting to fight.
They had it done in an hour.. wooooooooooooo
ok where'd I go with that...
well I don't knwo about different cable companies and what the differences are but I spose this is good until I get rich and get an OC connection
