Curse you Internet Explorer users! That very feature is the reason you have to use two different buttons to open a tab in Firefox. Argh...

This applies to most CRT Devices (including TVs). It's a little trick with phosphorescence.

1. Turn the lights on around the monitor.
2. The monitor must be off.
3. Place your hand on the screen.
4. Put your hand over your eyes and close them (this is so your eyes develop their best night vision)
5. Stand for about 3 minutes.
6. Turn the lights off (DO NOT OPEN EYES YET)
7. The screen will glow, and there will be a 'silhouette' of your hand where you placed it.

It's always a hit with the ladies.

F4 selects the address bar and brings it down, this is usefull for explorer when changing drives in a hurry.

Ctrl + home / end goes to the absolute start and end of any document respectively, such as ms word.

The space key selects / unselects a checkbox on a form when it is focused with the tab key (if u had no mouse)
