I actually don't have an issue with people re-using good clean code. In the long run the internet would be a much better place. My only beef is with the design. They already had to spend the time to edit or what appears to be recreated from scratch all new images. Why not take the time to be original with the graphics?
Despite all the gripes and whines from yall spectators they did not do a bad job in converting the design into a textpattern blog template. Kudos for that. It is obvious they fealt hick design was a nice design. I agree. William ___________________
lol, how much lamer can someone get? ___________________ "Hey, **** YOU!" Reusing code is one thing, but reusing graphics plus design is another. You can use parts of good code (though, I never do), but you can't reuse graphics. Graphics must be catered to the website all the way. My goodness, they suck. I would think a Japanese person would be smart and bust out with a pimpin' site, but no. That is just disappointing. ___________________
actually it's re-using content from hicksdesign too http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/journal/510/textpattern-migration http://www.rhizomedesign.org/journal/18/textpattern-migration ___________________ lol I cant even get into the rhizomedesign.org site.
Na, its no different on the other side of the world. People are people, no matter where you are from, we are all the same at the core. ___________________ People without self-doubt scare me.
