^^^^ Anyone know where I can find some tutorials on making illustrations such as the one above? I'm pretty familiar with Illustrator already so there's no problem there. Thanks.

Those are just basic shapes with linear two-colored gradients fills set at different angles to give the 3d look.
If you are already familiar with Illustrator all you have to do is build your shapes and use a gradient fill on each one of them.

I understand that but there are certain things like the 3d alignment of the door on the house- or the entire house itself! Smile

Well, that's not really teachable in a tutorial...

I'm sure alignment of shapes are teachable in a tutorial.

Just use the Photoshop 3D Transform to create a 3D shape and trace it in illustrator...

That's how I would do it if I completly sucked at making 3D shapes...

PS: Here's what I concocketed (how d'you spell that?) in a jiffy (that too?) Just forgot to add a door but oh well :P

Wow! Mr. Castle, dat's a pretty good example.

Victory is what happens when ten thousand hours of training meet up with one moment of opportunity.

Aligning the objects like that is a little bit tricky. You will first have to create a square (or rectangle, whatever) and then use the shear transform effect on it to create one of the sides and then apply the effect on another shape and put them both together.

read up on 3d perspective drawing. its rather quite simple once you get the understanding of it.

just google it, read a little bit and you will be on you're way Wink
