You really don't need any plugins if you play with the lighting setups.
E-Light really helps on that.

3 ways to name it:

Radiosity -- Takes way too long, and is usually used for final renders
HDRI -- Gives this and a realistic look!
GI(Global Illumination) -- This is the thing you are searching for!
