Hi, welcome to TF
How well do you know how to use PSP?
In order to make a sig with two different images, you'll have to work with layers (1 for each image). Are you familiar with them?
You'll also have to resize your logo as well as the pic so that they fit better in the sig's canvas (working image space). The Deformation tool is better for this instead of the Resize command since you can see what you are doing - to resize them symmetrically all you have to do is use the mouse's right button instead of the left one on one of the corner points.
The basic being said, throw in the questions.

Well instead of trying to make a sig, I suggest that you first try to learn about the tools, otherwise you might get yourself confused a bit.
Here's a nice site that presets tools and even problems/bugs you might find (the FAQ section is great):
http://www.campratty.com/index.html
Although they have many tutorials for PSP7 you can still use them in 8.
I'm not familiar with version 8 so I don't know how well I could help you with this.

Hello,
I just joined this forum today and found your post. I e-mailed you to see if you are still interested in learning PSP. I help manage a site for teaching PSP to beginners and would be happy to help you.
