n/m I thought you meant goverment, and then we were going to have a discussion of how goverment spending can increase consumer. ___________________ http://www.philbrodeur.com - Expert PHP Development and Tutorials A lot of great theories. Not that I know much about the actual formulas used to govern global fuel production but I do work for RaceTrac Petroleum and we moved over 1.7 billon gallons of fuel last year. This is my take. Yes We are having more difficulties with production in the middle east but hey why the hell did we close up major oil production fields in Texas last year for? The cost of EVERYTHING is almost always controlled by supply and demand. If NIKE can put a pair of shoes on the shelf for less than $15.00 and charge you $100.00 because some jock says the swoosh is cool then what can I say? But when major oil sales are controlled through OPEC You gotta wonder how many bean counters have their hands in the cookie jar?

I don't think gas prices are that high - I mean, sure, they are bad, and you need it, but I saw this pretty cool program on TV about "Prices of gallons", comparing the price of a gallon of gas to the price of a gallon of other things we use. Like milk, for example, it's about 3.33 here. They also took a gas price from about about 10 years ago, calculated it with the inflation, and guess what? It was even higher than our national average now. I think that says a lot. Anyhoo, the price of a gallon of cappucino, I believe, is somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 dollars. ___________________ I did the atkins diet for only two weeks, and I lost 14 days! "Decker, your sig still.." rocks I wounder what its like in Russa, its gota be mad crazzy. Its about 5 to 4 bucks here in Japan. Ima do some resurch at work, lol I work at a fuel terminal. We filll up big huge *** air craft carriers and stuff. But my guess is that lots of compines are being forced to upgrade to safer equipement and cleaner ways of makeing that stuff and what not. Soo yea wait, i duno im not very into this stuff. Doesn't matter its not whats going to kill the nation, its the split between what people think. like right and left wing ppl, and then all the dumb kids who dont care are going to go to where the weed is, Mexico! *i need sleep* ___________________ People without self-doubt scare me.
