3D Studio Max Snow?

Does anyone have a good way of doing snow? I know there's a snow function under particle systems, but when I do a render it doesn't seem to come out... That and I can't friggin find the video that it's supposedly producing.

So, if anyone has any ideas, please post below!

you should use somekind of PArray particle system, then choose snow.

check triangular for the shape of the particles.

the rest(i mean the real look of snow) is a question of using the right materials. further the videopost supports the tiny frame glow of a snow crystal. for this just add a glow effect in videopost and go through the setup. link the materialID to the ID of your snowmat, use gradient for color setup. change glow color to something between pour white & a light milky cream:) .
at least set the glow as high as you want the snow to be.

hope this helps,

greetz, Killian
